Post Laminectomy Syndrome

Post laminectomy syndrome or failed back surgery syndrome is the continuation of pain and disability following traditional open back surgery. Typically, a patient will experience a significant amount of pain following a flawless spine surgery. Typically, the original surgery does relieve the pain at first, however with time, patients suffer from recurrent disc herniations or scar tissue formation at the surgical site, which gradually causes increased pain once again. Our comprehensive approach for the management of post laminectomy syndrome or failed back syndrome will allow a patient to live with reduced pain and return to their daily activities.
