Roman Kosiborod, D.O.

Dr. Roman Kosiborod is a board-certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Specialist, diplomat of the American Society of Pain Medicine and American Board of Disability Specialists.

 

Dr. Kosiborod received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. He completed his surgical internship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York, followed by anesthesiology training from St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson, NJ and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, NY. Following his training program, Dr. Kosiborod became board certified in Anesthesiology and, subsequently, in Pain Medicine.

Dr. Kosiborod started his career at Toms River Community Hospital. He went on to accept the position of Director of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the Bergen Ambulatory Surgery Center, where he was also a medical co-director. Later, he founded Midland Anesthesia and Pain Management, where physicians provided patients with excellent pain management care for many years. In 2014, Dr. Kosiborod and his colleague, Dr. Trnovski, decided to take their expertise to the next level and together founded an interventional pain management practice – Alliance Spine Associates, LLC.

 

Dr. Kosiborod specializes in the treatment of chronic and post-traumatic pain, with the ultimate goal being the elimination of pain utilizing modern, minimally invasive surgical and non-surgical techniques. Dr. Kosiborod can diagnose and treat all kinds of pain conditions, and always takes a treatment models.

 

Dr. Kosiborod is licensed to practice medicine in New York and New Jersey. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, dancing, and playing the violin.
