STEFAN TRNOVSKI, M.D.

Stefan Trnovski, M.D. is a board-­‐certified Pain Medicine Specialist, Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with Subspecialty Certification in Pain Medicine.

 

Dr. Trnovski specializes in Spinal Diagnostics and Spinal Interventional Pain Management Treatment, with the ultimate goal to eliminate spinal pain utilizing innovative minimally invasive surgical and non surgical techniques. He is also a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of pain conditions in all age groups, including the full range of therapies from the latest highly technical interventions to traditional techniques.

Dr. Trnovski received his Medical Degree from the Faculty of Medicine “Ss Cyril and Methodius” University, Skopje, Macedonia. He completed his internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Louis University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri and residency training in Anesthesiology at UMDNJ-­‐Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, New Jersey. He received advanced fellowship training in the field of Pain Medicine at the prestigious Multidisciplinary “Tri-­‐Institutional Pain Medicine Fellowship Program” at Memorial Sloan-­‐Kettering Cancer Center, New York-­‐Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical College and Hospital for Special Surgery, New York. Following this training program, Dr. Trnovski was awarded a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine from the American Board of Anesthesiology.


Following his extensive training, Dr. Trnovski worked as both an Anesthesiology Attending and as the Interventional Pain Medicine Specialist with Amboy Anesthesia Associates, prior to assuming both positions with Columbia Pain Management. In 2010, he fully dedicated his career to Interventional Pain Management when he worked with Midland Anesthesia and Pain Management. Taking his Pain Medicine expertise he and his Midland Pain Management
colleague, Dr. Koisborod, in 2014 founded the Interventional Pain Practice, Alliance Spine Associates LLC.


Dr. Trnovski is licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey and New York.
